Dick Cheney…according to CNN’s poll 23% of Americans think he’s the worst VP ever. I’m not sure he’s the worst VP ever, but he’s definitely not what I’d call great. I think he’s done his fair share to harm this country and the office he’s held. He’s been classless and uncouth, unprincipled, and a divider of people.
I for one will not be sorry to see him go.

The war, torture….except the VP doesn’t think water boarding is torture…everyone who has ever served knows it’s torture (this is where I could mention snarkily that he hasn’t…but I won’t, oh wait, I just did!!) and Gitmo.
It’s good somethings remain true to form, the VP (like the current Prez) is simply unwilling to admit they’ve made huge mistakes. Mistakes that have cost American lives and Iraqi lives. Mistakes that have created more terrorists. Mistakes that have damaged world relations. Mistakes that have led us toward a recession.
I’ll admit, I’ve never been a Dick Cheney fan. I think he’s been terrible for the Republican Party (which I guess isn’t a bad thing) and he’s been terrible for this country.

That’s right folks. Vice President Dick Cheney endorsed John McCain today. Big surprise? No, not really! So John McCain can now claim “Joe the Plumber” and “Dick the Vice President”.
I’m not sure I’d want either endorsement!

Okay, thanks to a poster. I found this video. I was amused.

Okay. I don’t like the lady. Not one bit. And man oh man does it upset me she is a woman! When I think about her being the first woman to represent us in the White House I truly want to vomit. YUCK!!!
I almost feel bad for the people in Alaska. I’m sure they were hoping she’d win and get the Hell out of their state!

Poor Sarah. She’s under fire. Well I will say this. To be fair, Sarah Palin did not go out and purchase these clothes. Jeff Larson did. Then the RNC foot the bill. Now, this to me is where things get horribly wrong. This is where the whole thing gets commical.

Sarah Palin is out campaigning that she’s just like you and me. Well first off, I don’t have a $150,000 wardrobe, and I’m thinking the RNC isn’t going to buy me one…ya never know though I guess. Sarah and family are apparently worth over $2.1 million. They also have no credit card debt. Which is great for them, I’d love to know how they do it. To be fair though, I’m not worth over $2 million dollars. I also don’t get to charge the government per diem for staying in my home.

What I find comical is that she is peddling herself as an “Average American” or my favorite “Real American”. It’s rather intellectually dishonest. But hey, that’s the Republican way lately, isn’t it?

So apparently there is more angst and concern in the McCain-Palin Campaign. Sarah is apparently crafting her own message at times.
Will the real Sarah Palin please stand up? Or maybe sit down, and shut the Hell up. From what I’ve seen I’m not impressed. I’m not impressed with her handlers. I’m not impressed with her. I’ve watched her fumble through an interview with Katie Couric. I mean seriously if the fluff ball of news can rattle your cage maybe you are in the wrong field. No offense intended Katie. I’ve watched her explain to 3rd graders what a Vice President does…and God knows those kids teachers for the next ten years are going to have a hard time setting them straight. I’ve watched her simply appear at a Vice Presidential debate where she said little to nothing and preened for the camera, yet still got a free pass I might add. I’ve watched in horror as she leads a crowd down a hateful path, and they respond with hate filled crazy, and she giggles nervously.
The only thing I’m certain she knows is that she’s from Alaska. Well I say good riddance – take you and your crazy back to Alaska. They can have you back!
I’m not sure why the McCain people are worried by this. I mean, yeah, most of us know she’s not ready nor will she ever be ready, but she’s doing exactly what she was picked to do. Make outrageous statements that incite anger and fear. Rally the nutballs within the Republican Party. Pick off some former Clinton supporters…that the Republicans are hoping are too stupid to realize that Sarah Palin has NOTHING in common with Hillary Clinton except sharing a gender.
I say when you pick crazy, you get crazy. Thanks John!

Kinda.
Guess what? I really really hate Joe Lieberman. I think he’s a turd that needs to be flushed, but that story’s for another day!
Lieberman answers question on Palin’s readiness to be President by not answering. All I can say is thank god the old bastard has one decent bone left in his body.
